Job description

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time

Local candidates and candidates with strong connections to Vegas looking to move here will be considered first.

About the Opportunity

A privately held family office is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and service‑oriented Family Office Analyst to support financial reporting, planning, and client‑service operations for ultra‑high‑net‑worth households. This role blends FP&A, operations, and client management, offering broad exposure to multi‑entity structures, investments, liquidity planning, and household financial administration.

You’ll help maintain reporting accuracy, prepare client deliverables, support budgeting and forecasting, track action items, and ensure leaders have the information and follow‑through needed to serve UHNW families at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI summaries.
  • Reconcile data across systems and support variance and trend analysis.
  • Maintain reporting calendars and ensure timely, error‑free delivery.
  • Update planning models, budgets, and household forecasts.
  • Track capital calls, distributions, and upcoming liquidity needs.
  • Maintain assumptions, schedules, and financial data files with precision.
Client Service & Meeting Support
  • Prepare agendas, materials, and presentation decks for client meetings.
  • Document meeting notes, track next steps, and ensure follow‑through.
  • Maintain trackers for deliverables, deadlines, and household priorities.
Data & Workflow Management
  • Maintain client records, entity lists, account data, and reporting templates.
  • Keep files, notes, and approvals organized and audit‑ready.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to keep commitments on track.
Research & Special Projects
  • Support ad hoc analyses related to balance sheets, investment activity, tax coordination, governance, and operational improvements.
  • Help refine templates, checklists, dashboards, and reporting workflows.
What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will:

  • Become a trusted resource for reporting, analysis, and client‑service coordination.
  • Deliver accurate, timely reporting with minimal oversight.
  • Improve visibility into client priorities, liquidity needs, and financial workflows.
  • Demonstrate readiness for expanded analytical and relationship‑management responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in public accounting, private accounting, FP&A, wealth management, or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and foundational investment concepts.
  • High proficiency in Excel; familiarity with accounting or portfolio reporting systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
  • Professional polish, discretion, and comfort handling sensitive information.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic for excellent career growth - this is not a 9-5 position
  • Onsite role based in Las Vegas.
  • Small, collaborative team with direct exposure to senior leadership.
  • Note that this is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow but it is also a time commitment. The team tends to work from 8/8:30am - 7/7:30pm each day - better hours than investment banking but not a 40hr work week. This is a rare opportunity to work with the best of best talent in-person but it is a grind and not for everyone. Successful candidates will be hungry to invest time early in their career.
