Job summary

Exede Search Partners represents a client in the STL area seeking a Finance Analyst to join a high-visibility Finance Team. The role focuses on FP&A, financial and business analytics, modeling and investment decisions, and driving best practices across the function.

The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, translate insights into business trends for leadership, and support regional plant managers with finance topics. Travel <20% and residency in the STL metro are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 1-3+ years' financial analysis and modeling experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel; Oracle/Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.
• Consistently analyze financial information based on routine and ad-hoc reports.
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns and their meaning related to KPIs.
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management.
• Travel <20% (planned in advance).

Our client is adding a highly visible role to their Finance Team. The successful candidate will

be a well rounded individual wtih robust experience that includes FP&A, financial and business

analytics, modeling and investment decisions, driving standardization, benchmarking, continuous improvement and best practices

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership and will serve as the primary contact for Regional GM's, and Plant Managers on finance related topics.

** Candidates Must Reside in the STL Metro Area
