Job summary

CFS is seeking a Financial Analyst to join a growing energy-sector finance team. This newly created role supports forecasting, reporting, and analysis that influence decisions across the company.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with some in-office days and significant exposure to cross-functional projects. Ideal candidates have FP&A experience, strong Excel and modeling skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of FP&A or related experience.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP or planning tools (NetSuite a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly forecasting processes (revenue, operating expenses, headcount).
  • Maintain and update financial models for budgeting, cash-flow, and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages and leadership dashboards.
  • Support ad hoc analyses related to capital projects, cost initiatives, and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to validate assumptions and track KPIs.
  • Help streamline workflows and enhance planning tools/ERP systems.

Compensation: $70,000–80,000 + bonus

Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days in Fairfield County office)

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, including revenue, operating expenses, and headcount.

  • Prepare monthly reporting packages and dashboards for leadership, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

  • Contribute to process improvements by helping to streamline workflows, standardize reporting, and enhance planning tools and ERP systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to work with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with ERP or planning tools; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
