Overview

Remote Financial Analyst II opportunity with Insight Global for a major healthcare system. The position focuses on treasury, cash management, and accounting tasks to keep cash postings balanced across the general ledger, bank, and accounts receivable systems. Strong Excel skills and data analysis are required.

Remote but must sit in NC, SC, or GA

Salary / Compensation

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr

Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education. Exact compensation may be discussed with the recruiter.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with flexible hours if needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems
• Minimum 3 years of treasury/cash management and financial analysis or accounting experience
• Analytical and effective communication skills
• Experience with projects/implementations involving large data sets
• Intermediate Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

Day to day / Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile cash postings with the General Ledger, bank statements, and AR system
• Focus on cash application management (CAMS) and reconcile data trends
• Forecast data, analyze trends, and conduct deep data dives
• Reconcile banking transactions/statements and credit card statements
• Work in Excel to analyze and reconcile data; perform project and analysis work
• Apply financial analysis principles and perform account reconciliation
• Research and analyze financial, banking, and patient billing data to assist in accurate bank reconciliation and patient billing operations
• Prepare reports and provide cross-team support for internal customers
• Document financial analysis projects and prepare information for strategic decisions
• Maintain database integrity, mappings, and reference tables within cash application software
• Collaborate with IS and software vendors to resolve system issues
• Update and maintain system documentation; educate end users on features and enhancements
• Occasional journal entries related to banking activity
