Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- in Woodland Hills, California is seeking a Financial Analyst / Accountant to support a large healthcare organization. The role is mostly remote/hybrid with strong emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, and Excel-driven reporting.

The candidate will prepare monthly financials, perform analyses, build financial models, and assist with month-end close and forecasting. Healthcare industry experience and GAAP knowledge are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of Financial Analyst and/or Corporate Accounting experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, GL accounting and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting of operational results.
• Create and maintain financial models and spreadsheets.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities.
• Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
• Generate ad hoc reports for leadership and business partners.

• Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst / Accountant to support a large healthcare organization. This is a mostly remoet/hybrid opportunity for a professional with strong financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Healthcare industry experience required
• Knowledge of GAAP required
• Experience supporting healthcare financial operations, managed care, or provider organizations is a plus
