Job summary

Allison Transmission, a leader in drivetrain technology, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Indianapolis team. You will compile and analyze financial information, producing integrated analyses and projections for leadership.

Responsibilities include coordinating annual financial documents, ensuring compliant reporting, and enhancing internal reporting systems. A Finance or Accounting degree and 2+ years of relevant experience are required; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience in a financial analyst, budget analyst or accounting role.
• Experience using SAP in a financial setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
• Database management skills.
• Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
• Knowledge of the principles, processes, and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting as related to a public company.

• Coordinates, compiles, and analyzes annual financial documents for the organization and its component units, applying sophisticated spreadsheet and database applications.
• Collaborates with and coordinates all components of the organization to ensure consistent reporting and adherence to federal and state financial reporting regulations and guidelines, and conformity with company fiscal policies and procedures.
• Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal financial reporting systems and procedures for the organization or business entity.
• Other duties as assigned.
