Job summary

Grayson Search Partners is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Greater Chicago Area to recruit a Financial Analyst for FP&A support. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and frontline exposure to business leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of FP&A experience, strong budgeting and variance analysis skills, and a working knowledge of Power BI. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Financial Analyst / FP&A experience.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing plant, division, or business unit.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis experience.
• Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and monthly close processes.
• Analyze manufacturing variance drivers and cost trends.
• Prepare business-unit P&L and KPI reporting.
• Provide financial support for operational decisions (CapEx, cost initiatives).
• Develop Power BI reporting and financial dashboards.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and business leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive business insights.
