The Financial Analyst, Performance Management supports NRG Business through financial forecasting, performance reporting, and business analytics. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, FP&A, Business Strategy, and other cross‑functional teams to translate financial and operational data into clear insights that support both day‑to‑day execution and strategic decision‑making. The role requires the ability to frame financial analyses into decision‑focused narratives, including evaluating alternative scenarios, quantifying the financial risks, costs, and benefits of each option, and clearly articulating implications and trade‑offs. This role will need to present technical analysis and findings in a manner that is easily understood across the organization. The position is ideal for an analyst with experience in the energy and/or finance industry who is comfortable working with data, building financial models, and presenting findings in a fast‑paced environment. There is an expectation of high visibility and tactful communication of sensitive topics with organizational leadership.
