Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Greenwood Village, Colorado office. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support firm-wide decisions.

You will interact with internal teams and senior leaders to ensure data-driven insights and performance metrics align with strategic goals. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, has strong Excel skills, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Alteryx, VBA, Power Query, and SQL skills are preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Excellent quantitative skills with data interpretation and recommendations.
  • Professionalism and ability to work with all levels of staff, including executives.
  • Strong client service mentality and work ethic.
  • Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Must be an excellent team player and work independently.

Responsibilities

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Support the annual business planning/budgeting processes through preparation of data and analyses
  • Partner with internal functions to analyze current month activity against approved budgets, assessing impact on projected annual profitability
  • Assist in monthly forecasting of operating expenses
  • Preparation of interim and monthly financial reports and responding to related inquiries
  • Performance of data requests, financial analyses, and other financial modeling, as requested by those throughout the firm, including senior executives
  • Respond to financial surveys throughout the year
  • Assist with special projects among various teams nationwide
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience

Salary Range:

  • $75,000 - $85,000
  • Eligible for performance based bonuses
