Jeg's Automotive is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and advanced financial modeling. The role focuses on analyzing data across products, channels, and customer segments to drive profitability.

Strong Excel/SQL skills are required, with experience in ERP/financial reporting systems. The position is onsite at our Delaware, OH location and involves cross-functional collaboration with accounting and operations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting; eCommerce/retail experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling); SQL or BI tool experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain monthly/quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis vs. budget and forecast.
• Design dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards for financial and operational performance.
• Support annual budget and rolling forecast processes; track actuals vs. plan and ROI.
• Mine large transactional datasets to surface trends for leadership action.

Job Summary:

JEGS Automotive is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the financial planning and analysis functions of the company. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing financial data, developing budgets, and providing insights to assist the company's decision-making process. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

We're looking for a data-driven Financial Analyst to turn financial and operational data into insights that shape strategy. You'll build reporting, forecasting, and analytical models that help leadership understand margin, profitability, and performance across products, channels, and customer segments. This role is analysis-heavy - strong Excel/SQL skills and comfort working in large datasets matter as much as accounting fundamentals.

You'll partner closely with the Controller, VP of Accounting, CFO, and department leaders on budgeting, performance tracking, and growth/cost-saving opportunities.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Build and maintain monthly/quarterly reporting packages, including variance analysis vs. budget and forecast
• Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards for financial and operational performance
• Deliver ad hoc analysis on business initiatives, often on tight turnaround.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Support annual budget and rolling forecast processes
• Track actuals vs. plan, flag trends, and recommend corrective action
• Partner with department managers on spend tracking and ROI measurement. .

eCommerce & Business Insights

• Analyze profitability by SKU, product line, channel, and customer segment
• Support pricing, margin, and cost analysis tied to promotions, channel mix, and fulfillment costs
• Build financial models to evaluate new opportunities, investments, and operational changes
• Mine large transactional/order datasets to surface trends leadership can act on.

Compliance & Process

• Maintain data accuracy and integrity across reporting and analysis
• Support audit requests, compliance reporting, and internal controls documentation
• Improve reporting processes in partnership with accounting/operations, ensuring GAAP alignment.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2-4 years in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting - eCommerce/retail experience a plus
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling); SQL or BI tool experience (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills - able to work independently in large, sometimes messy datasets and pull out what matters
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred
• Solid grasp of GAAP and financial statements
• Ability to translate financial/data findings into clear takeaways for non-financial stakeholders
• Organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
