Job summary

Care.com is seeking a Finance-focused FP&A Analyst to support our Financial Planning & Analysis team with forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The role requires a highly organized person, strong Excel skills, and the ability to surface insights from data sets while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

You’ll build and maintain financial models, monitor metrics across divisions, help prepare weekly and monthly reports, and contribute to cross-functional budgeting and planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or an equivalent quantitative major.
• 1–2 years of experience in a finance or analytics role in a corporate environment.
• Experience in the tech industry, management consulting, or investment banking is a plus.
• Experience with financial models and a desire to develop that skill further.
• Foundational understanding of finance, accounting, economics, and statistics.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of financial models used for forecasting and business planning.

• Assist with the preparation of weekly reporting that highlights operational results, forecasts, and business plans across the company's divisions and subsidiaries.
• Support the development of budgets, business plans, and forecasts for Care.com and its business units.
• Help identify operational issues and contribute to recommending solutions.
• Support the FP&A team to meet all internal and external deadlines.
• Assist with adhoc projects as appropriate.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000.

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
