SkyBridge Tactical is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Founded in 2008, SkyBridge Tactical supports U.S. Government customers with operational, training, logistics, and professional support services.

Position Summary

SkyBridge Tactical is seeking three Financial Analysts to provide budget, accounting, and financial-management support to a Department of Defense customer in Coronado, California. The Financial Analysts will support budget execution and accounting functions across multiple organizations and funding categories.

This position requires full-time onsite performance at the Government facility in Coronado.

Job Duties

• Develop spend plans supporting budget submissions.
• Monitor budget execution, identify spending trends, and help ensure the proper use of Government funds.
• Analyze financial data and recommend actions to meet established obligation targets.
• Compile data from Government financial systems and prepare recurring and special budget or accounting reports.
• Prepare budget exhibits and supporting documentation using prescribed templates.
• Analyze and process funding requests and apply the appropriate financial accounting structure.
• Support compliance with fiscal requirements, accounting principles, internal controls, and Government standards.
• Provide recommendations concerning financial policy and the accurate recording of accounting transactions.
• Apply appropriate accounting methods and support financial-statement compilation.
• Identify operational or financial-process weaknesses and develop corrective solutions.
• Review financial products and procedures for compliance with applicable standards and system requirements.
• Prepare financial studies, plans, and analyses supporting customer operations.
• Coordinate with Government personnel and other stakeholders to meet established deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Secret security clearance required at the start of performance.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline. An equivalent combination of relevant education and specialized DoD budgeting experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience with DoD budgeting, accounting, financial management, or a closely related financial field.
• Familiarity with current military concepts and procedures.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Coronado, California.
• Ability to satisfy applicable pre-employment and recurring drug-screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Navy, Naval Special Warfare, USSOCOM, or other DoD financial-management experience.
• Experience with appropriated funds, spend plans, budget execution, funding documents, obligation analysis, or financial accounting structures.
• Experience using DoD or Navy financial-management systems.
• Current or previous DoD Financial Management Certification. Certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with financial statements, accounting transactions, internal controls, or financial-process improvement.

Employment is contingent upon SkyBridge Tactical receiving the task-order award.
