Safran Federal Systems in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A and program management by driving financial accuracy, cost tracking, and performance reporting. You will collaborate with Program Management, FP&A, Accounting, and BI teams to ensure data integrity and timely insights.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of analytical experience, strong Excel, and experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skillset.

• Program finance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support to programmatic efforts and track costs, funding, and performance.
• Assist with the financial aspects of B&P/Pricing efforts.
• Collaborate to ensure accurate financial data within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Analyze financial/operational results to identify trends and support decisions.

Job description

The Opportunity: Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Financial Analyst supports Safran Federal Systems by helping drive financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and program execution. This role works closely with Program Management as well as FP&A, Accounting, and Business Systems to ensure data integrity, support project performance, and contribute to reliable financial planning.

Safran Federal Systems provides Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations and their contractors. How I will Contribute

The Financial Analyst performs a wide range of duties that may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide financial support to programmatic efforts, partnering closely with Program Management to track costs, funding, and overall project performance
• Assist with the financial aspects of B&P/Pricing efforts

What You Bring To Safran Federal Systems

• Bachelors degree in business, finance or another related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant analytical or financial experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skillset
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI strongly preferred
• Solid Excel skills; advanced capabilities are a plus
• Ability to solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and work crossfunctionally
