Qualifications

• 2 years progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of accounting rules and concepts and ability to apply the appropriate accounting standards to the relevant job duties.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts and budgets for corporate departments; analyze actual performance vs. estimates.
• Develops financial models of “what if” scenarios for decisions on new products, territories, projects.
• Process journal entries and reconciliations; maintain spending records and budget controls.
• Prepare reports and support management with recommendations based on analyses.
• Conduct research on financial topics like rates of return, depreciation, investments, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Note: This is a hybrid position located in Brooklyn, OH, with a three-day per week onsite requirement.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Supports corporate departments, both within and outside of Finance, with generating forecasts in various business areas. Duties also include compiling budgets for corporate departments, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income.
• Provides limited assistance in the creation of financial models of "what if" scenarios for business planning decisions relative to new products, new territories, new projects, and other important aspects of the Company's business.
• Performs various basic general accounting duties including preparing journal entries and preparing account reconciliations. Duties could also involve maintaining accurate spending records and establishing measures for budgetary control.
