Capital One’s Tech Finance team seeks a Financial Analysis Manager to drive cost analysis, AI-enabled forecasting, and robust monthly reporting for software investments.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, delivering influential presentations to senior leadership and guiding strategic analyses with a focus on actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in financial analysis.
• At least 5 years’ experience with financial modelling.
• MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred.
• CFA or CPA license preferred.
• 6+ years’ experience in financial analysis.
• 6+ years’ experience with financial modelling.

Financial Analysis Manager (Tech Finance)

General Responsibilities

• Financial analysis & reporting: Accurately analyse & explain key cost and allocation drivers and monthly variances, suggest actions to the business, and manage the regular reporting process
• Lead the development of challenger forecasting frameworks, leveraging AI tools where relevant
• Budgeting, forecasting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management
• Business presentations: Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences, clearly articulate outcomes to leadership teams
• Ad‑hoc requests and special projects: Independently manage and prioritise workload

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in financial analysis
• At least 5 years’ experience with financial modelling

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• 6+ years’ experience in financial analysis
• 6+ years’ experience with financial modelling
• 4+ years’ experience in strategic analysis & planning
• Proven business relationship, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Demonstrated independent problem‑solving and strategic thinking abilities

Salary

McLean, VA: $151,900 – $173,400 for Manager, Financial Analysis

Richmond, VA: $138,100 – $157,700 for Manager, Financial Analysis

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
