Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Financial Lead Analyst who will handle pricing-related activities for Full Contracted Retail Value clients and collaborate with internal teams and external partners. You will analyze large data sets, develop tracking reports, and communicate risks or opportunities to decision-makers.

In this role, you’ll work with financial models to forecast, report, and analyze, supporting discussions on annual plans and mid-year projections. Remote/hybrid work may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 1+ years in Finance or Supply Chain.
• Experience in financial modeling and planning
• Experience in PBM retail network pricing including client/provider guarantee management
• Experience in SQL and managing/analyzing large data sets
• Cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of Excel including macros

The Financial Lead Analyst is responsible for working collaboratively internally and with external client partners contracted through “Full Contracted Retail Value” arrangements. This individual will work closely with health plan retail network clients, account management teams, supply chain, financial client operations, and pricing to ensure all pricing-related contractual commitments are met. As a Lead Analyst, you will work with large data tables and tools that measure client performance, develop tracking reports, and communicate any known risks or opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Completes pricing related activities for “Full Contracted Retail Value” transparent clients which include development of custom network pricing.
• Participates in coordination with Network Ops to ensure production price points reflect desired rates.
• Monitors and tracks client and provider performances.
• Completes financial assessment of re-contracted retail network rates.
• Works with tools and financial models to support decision makers with forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Assists in building reporting for discussions around annual plan, monthly operating report, and mid-year projections.
• Meets collaboratively with clients to discuss any financial or operational issues or opportunities.
• Participates in client interaction to build relationship, direct strategy, and triage issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of experience in Finance or Supply Chain
• Experience in financial modeling and financial planning and analysis
• Experience in PBM retail network pricing including client and/or provider guarantee management
• Experience in SQL and managing/analyzing large data sets
• Experience working cross functionally in a collaborative environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including macros
• Comfort working in dynamic and deadline driven environments

Compensation & Bonus

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,900 - 129,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
