Job summary

LCS is offering a full-time Financial Analysis internship in Des Moines, IA. The 6-month program runs May through December, 40 hours per week, with hands-on professional experience and a final presentation to senior leadership.

Interns will contribute to real projects, collaborate across departments, and gain exposure to budgeting and forecasting while receiving mentorship and networking opportunities. Competitive hourly rate: $22.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related degree.
• Strong background in MS Excel and reporting.
• Background in ad-hoc reporting, financial modeling, and analysis preferred
• Exposure to budgeting and or forecasting beneficial
• Hands-on experience in a professional environment
• Mentorship and exposure to senior leadership
• Opportunities for networking and career development
• Meaningful project work that makes an impact

Job description

The Financial Analysis internship is a full-time, 6-month program (40 hours per week) running from May through December. The Co-op Intern will gain hands‑on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.
