Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate automation and improved processes in the financial aid department to serve students efficiently and in compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid and Welcome Center to map processes in ctcLink and related systems, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
• Analyze business and technology needs to enhance financial aid services or practices.
• Create process documentation for ctcLink and provide ongoing staff training to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare reports on financial status of programs (Work-Study, scholarships) for leadership and SBCTC.
• Research and advise the Director of Financial Aid on cross-department issues and impacts of policy changes.
• Monitor changes in operations policies and collaborate with SBCTC peers to optimize systems.
• Lead training sessions to ensure staff can provide accurate and equitable guidance to students.
• Use data analytics to evaluate program success and drive improvements.
