Who We Are
The mission of Scholarships & Financial Aid is to provide students and their families with information and financial resources to attend Texas A&M University, along with support programs that promote higher education and developmental opportunities. We administer scholarships and financial aid, including grants, student loans, student employment, veteran educational benefits, athletic aid coordination, short-term loans, and emergency tuition and fee loans. Our office also provides advising on these programs and promotes financial literacy through our Money Education Center. We manage student aid and veteran benefits for multiple campuses, totaling approximately $836 million in aid last year.
What We Want
We are seeking a Financial Aid Advisor I to counsel students, families, donors, and campus offices, providing excellent customer service and support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and committed to assisting others with their financial aid inquiries.

Responsibilities
Advising/Processing: Learn to advise students and families, review and adjust files, and communicate effectively. Assist with disbursement and review of financial aid, ensuring compliance with policies.
Financial Aid Knowledge & Team Support: Maintain knowledge of policies, support student transition, and ensure adherence to procedures.
General: Participate in departmental events, research financial aid questions, and attend workshops and conferences.
Financial Aid Processing: Learn verification processes, data entry, and report review to ensure timely and accurate processing.
