Insight Global is seeking a Finance SME to join a Fortune 20s GenAI team on a remote, flexible basis. You will guide finance-focused annotation and model evaluation to improve AI performance in financial domains, collaborating closely with AI researchers.

Requirements include a Master's or PhD in Finance and at least 3 years of professional finance experience, with strong communication and analytical skills. Familiarity with quantitative finance is a plus.

Fundamental Equity: buyside (portfolio and hedge fund managers/analysts as well as traders) and sell side (equity research).

We're also open to top quants and former investment bankers who have experience in Private Equity. This is investing and not FP&A focused.

We’re looking for talented Finance subject-matter experts (SMEs) to bring deep domain expertise and elevate the quality of our AI training data. This is a remote, flexible opportunity to collaborate directly with the AI research teams.

What You’ll Do:

Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in your domain.

Create and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to your finance specialty. As a domain SME, you’ll set the gold standard for quality and rigor.

Design challenging, domain-relevant finance tasks across multiple specializations, and write accurate and well-structured solutions to finance tasks.

Evaluate finance tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback

Qualifications:

Education: A Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field related to the domain of expertise

Experience: A minimum of 3 years professional experience in Finance.

Deep Knowledge: Demonstrated deep understanding and expertise in Finance.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and guidance to internal teams and external vendors.

Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to identify trends, evaluate annotation quality, and provide actionable feedback.

Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.

Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in a rapidly evolving environment.

Expert level quant finance experience would be a preferred skill
