Job summary

The role focuses on building asset growth through securities and insurance solutions, using a consultative process and strong partnerships with internal teams to meet clients' financial needs while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking or equivalent education and related experience.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 licenses (63/65 in lieu of 66).
  • Applicable state health and life insurance licenses.
  • Securities sales and client relationship management experience.
  • Organized and self-motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
  • Competent skills in Microsoft Office software products.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals.
  • Set the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to increase assets under management, sales and service.
  • Develop and maintain a profitable level of securities and insurance sales by executing on opportunities identified through external networking and internal referrals.
  • Utilize a consultative sales process to partner with clients to review investment plans on a regular basis.
  • Lead overall client relationship management strategies to deepen client connections and loyalty.
  • Record transactions and inquiries accurately, ensuring client files comply with regulatory policies.
  • Remain knowledgeable of all products offered by Truist Wealth and complete continuing education requirements.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Wealth and Commercial teams and other internal partners to fulfill unmet client needs.
  • Conduct investment product educational seminars for clients and prospects.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by Truist and regulatory bodies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 1. Deliver personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals.
  • 2. Set the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to increase assets under management, sales and service.

  • 4. Utilize a consultative sales process to partner with clients to review investment plans on a regular basis.

  • 6. Properly record transactions and inquiries, and see that customer files are correctly completed and maintained to conform to regulatory policies.
  • 7. Remain knowledgeable of and familiar with all products currently offered by Truist Wealth and complete continuing education requirements.
  • 8. Establish strong partnerships with Wealth and Commercial teams and other internal business partners to uncover and ensure unmet client financial needs are fulfilled.
  • 9. Conduct investment product educational seminars for clients and prospects.
  • 10. Adhere to professional and ethical standards set forth by Truist, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and other regulatory bodies.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • 1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience.
  • 2. FINRA Series 7, 66 (63 and 65 in lieu of 66) licenses.
  • 3. Applicable state health and life insurance licenses.
  • 4. Securities sales and client relationship management experience
  • 5. Organized and self-motivated individual, with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1. Additional credentials such as the Certified Financial Planner Designation (CFP), CIMA, etc.
