Job summary

Bank of America’s Merrill Wealth Management is seeking a candidate for the Advisor Development Program – Financial Advisor to build relationships with high-net-worth clients, assess goals, and deliver comprehensive investment guidance in collaboration with Merrill teams.

You will develop a book of business, participate in training via Bank of America’s Academy, and coordinate with core banking and investment partners to address a broad range of client needs.

Qualifications

• Current Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66)
• Minimum 1 year in financial services or sales with goals met/exceeded
• Minimum 1 year in investments industry and products knowledge
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to build trust quickly
• Ability to source clients through extensive prospecting and networking
• Entrepreneurial mindset with performance-based compensation

Responsibilities

• Handles inbound inquiries from Merrill offering
• Positions Merrill and Bank of America capabilities
• Collects client profile data following KYC to open accounts
• Serves as interim Financial Advisor with suitable investment recommendations
• Documents all client interactions in Salesforce accurately
