Job summary

Valeo Financial Advisors in Carmel, Indiana, is seeking a client-focused Financial Advisor who will prepare and review investment reports, conduct risk and cash flow analyses, and assist with tax and estate planning strategies. You will collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to gather data, develop plans, and ensure follow-up actions from client meetings.

Through our Advisor Development Program, you will receive training, mentorship, and coaching to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
• CFP designation in progress or held.
• Knowledge of basic tax and mid-level financial planning questions.
• Ability to interpret account statements, annuity contracts, life insurance policy documents, and tax returns.
• Ability to serve as a fiduciary for every Valeo client.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and portfolio management software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for high-net-worth clients.
• Demonstrated drive, organization, time management, and strategic thinking.
• Passion for securing clients' assets and goals over selling products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review reports of clients’ investments, risk, and cash flow analyses, and tax and estate planning.
• Facilitate tax planning by gathering, summarizing, and collaborating with internal and external tax professionals.
• Collect data, create plans using firm standard tools, and assist in presenting results.
• Coordinate with service providers to ensure execution of client actions and trades.
• Review client financials to optimize deductions, credits, and tax outcomes.
• Assist with estate pre-planning and documentation gathering for reports and presentations.
• Follow Valeo's systems and processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
