Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a results-driven Financial Advisor for the Dallas, TX area, to support Merrill offerings for prospects and clients. You will handle inbound inquiries, present capabilities, collect client profile data, and perform KYC procedures while logging interactions in Salesforce.

This role emphasizes relationship building and proactive prospecting, with a compensation mix largely tied to performance. A Series 7/66 license is required, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Holding Series 7 and 66 licenses (63/65 in lieu of 66) is required.
• At least 1 year in financial services or a sales environment.
• At least 1 year in investments with training and knowledge of products and services.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to build trust and credibility quickly.

Requirements

• Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses
• Minimum of one year experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment
• Minimum of one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
• Proven ability to engage and influence others
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven ability to quickly build trust and credibility
• Proven ability to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions
