Role Description

The Financial Advisor role in Omaha, NE is a full-time, on-site position focused on helping clients create and implement personalized financial strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their goals, conducting financial analyses, and developing plans for retirement, investments, insurance, and other key financial needs. The Financial Advisor will provide ongoing guidance, monitor client portfolios, and adjust strategies in response to changing circumstances and market conditions. The role also involves educating clients on Thrivent's products and services, maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards, and building long-term relationships through regular reviews and proactive outreach. Collaboration with internal teams and participation in local community and networking activities are also expected.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, including the ability to develop holistic, client-centered financial strategies.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills, with the capability to analyze markets, recommend appropriate solutions, and manage diversified portfolios.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning, including designing income strategies and long-term savings plans aligned with client objectives.
• Relevant licenses and certifications (such as FINRA Series registrations, state insurance licenses, CFP® or similar) are highly beneficial or may be required within a specified timeframe.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with a client-service mindset and high ethical standards.
