Position Title: Financial Advisor

We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Financial Advisor to join a growing investment advisory firm in Olympia, WA. This opportunity offers an established $77 million portfolio in assets under management (AUM), with the responsibility of maintaining existing client relationships while actively expanding the book of business. The Financial Advisor will provide tailored investment recommendations, introduce clients to traditional and alternative investment opportunities, and drive new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and client engagement events.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven financial professional with a proven track record in business development, strong relationship-building skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 / annually, DOE

Responsibilities

• Transition and manage an established $77 million portfolio while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
• Actively prospect, generate referrals, and develop new client relationships to expand assets under management
• Identify client financial goals, assess investment needs, and recommend customized investment strategies
• Educate clients on traditional and alternative investment opportunities while maintaining fiduciary standards
• Introduce clients to proprietary investment products when appropriate for their financial objectives and risk profiles
• Participate in client seminars, networking events, and marketing initiatives to generate new business
• Collaborate with firm leadership to execute growth strategies and expand the firm's market presence
• Partner with internal operations and client service teams to ensure seamless account management and investment execution
• Maintain compliance with securities regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
• Meet and exceed business development, client retention, and revenue growth objectives

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Advisor or in investment advisory sales within an RIA or broker-dealer environment
• Active Series 65, Series 66, or equivalent securities licensing
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, acquiring new clients, and growing assets under management
• Strong understanding of investment products, securities regulations, and fiduciary responsibilities
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering personalized investment recommendations
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commitment to business development and revenue growth
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain accountable for performance
• Willingness to learn new investment strategies and embrace alternative investment opportunities
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Life and health insurance licensing preferred
• Experience with Schwab and financial planning platforms such as MoneyGuidePro preferred
