Larson Financial Group is seeking a talented professional to hire for the position of Financial Advisor, in the Knoxville, TN area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients to achieve their financial goals through diligent follow-up, meeting preparations, conducting client meetings, and managing client information files. The candidate should handle people and processes with ease, welcoming challenges and opportunities. A passion for delivering superior service and building client relationships is essential.
In this client-facing role, you will use your industry knowledge to work with the Advisory team to contribute to an outstanding client experience. This position is fast-paced and requires a person eager to learn, grow, and handle challenges while enjoying successes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and conducting client meetings
- Gathering data from clients for financial plan preparation
- Running insurance illustrations and constructing financial plans
- Communicating investment advice based on team recommendations
- Tracking next steps in the planning process
- Providing outstanding service to top clients
- Entering and manipulating information in Contact Management System and Financial Planning software
- Implementing client "touches" to create a concierge experience and generate referrals
- Following up and processing new business; managing existing client relationships
- Managing and resolving client issues
Requirements:
- Ability to build rapport via phone, virtual meetings, or in person
- Professional, clear, and polite communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with the Advisor and support team to achieve goals
- Adaptability to a changing environment and ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
- Primary contact for designated clients, providing comprehensive financial support
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in Financial Planning or Advisory roles
- Series 7 & 66, or 65 licenses
- CFP or CFA designation is a plus
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of insurance and financial services industry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and financial planning software
- Experience with Salesforce
- Strong data entry skills
- Flexible schedule for meetings and events
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Proactive and assertive communication style
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Adherence to FINRA rules and regulations
