Job summary

PNC is seeking a financial professional in Florida to consult on investment and insurance strategies, develop comprehensive financial plans, and grow a committed book of business. You will own the client experience, drive referrals, and collaborate with internal partners to expand client relationships.

Responsibilities include coaching branch staff, identifying opportunities, and presenting tailored financial recommendations, while ensuring compliance with laws and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

  • University/college degree typically required for roles at this level.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree listed under Education.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63,65) required.
  • Life and Health Insurance required.
  • Knowledge of client prospecting, client relationship building, credit risk analysis, customer engagement, financial analysis, financial modeling, investment banking, public speaking, relationship building, and relationship management.
  • Competency in coaching others, customer experience management, customer retention, effective communications, interpersonal relationships, managing multiple priorities, prospecting, sales tasks and activities, and selling.
  • Must comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position

  • Own the client experience, handling sales and service efficiently.
  • Identify sales and execution opportunities and make referrals to internal business partners.
  • Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and client networking.
  • Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through exceptional client experiences.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems appropriately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies.
  • Determine the best products to support client strategies.
  • Present financial recommendations and guidance.
  • Establish individual financial plans based on client needs and objectives.
  • Monitor financial plans and recommend changes as needed.
  • Coach and educate branch staff and internal business partners to identify investment opportunities.
  • Drive investment education and visibility among branch staff.
  • Lead branch-team actions to achieve investment results in partnership with the branch manager and/or investment sales associate.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to build relationships and drive referral activity.
  • Meet regularly with the branch manager and internal business partners to review business results and pipeline management.
  • Meet service-level agreements on lead and referral follow-up.
  • Manage risks associated with business objectives and activities within PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Work within a collaborative circuit of branches and manage an assigned book of business
