Job description

Retirement Corporation of America
Blue Ash, OH

Financial Advisor with Path to Partnership

At Retirement Corporation of America, we help clients make thoughtful, informed decisions about their financial lives through long-term planning relationships built on clarity, trust, and consistency. For more than 35 years, we have served families across multiple generations and are now working with the third generation of some of our longest-standing client relationships. This continuity reflects our commitment to advice that extends well beyond a single lifetime.

We are seeking a Financial Advisor with a strong foundation in comprehensive financial planning who is ready to play a meaningful role in client relationships, business development, and team collaboration.

Position Overview

This full-time, in-office position in Blue Ash, Ohio sits at the center of the planning process and client experience. The successful candidate will work closely with the advisory team to develop deep, long-term relationships with clients and their families while delivering high-quality financial planning and advice.

The advisor will have the opportunity to work with an established client base while helping steward and expand multigenerational family relationships that have been developed over the firm's history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client meetings and serve as a trusted advisor in delivering financial planning recommendations and guidance.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client's goals, cash flow needs, and long-term objectives.

  • Communicate recommendations in a clear, concise, and client-friendly manner through meetings and written follow-up.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes, workflows, and client deliverables.

  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing family relationships and develop new client relationships both within and outside the firm's current network.

Our Ideal Candidate

This opportunity is designed for an experienced financial advisor who is seeking a long-term platform to build, lead, and ultimately participate in the ownership of a growing independent advisory firm. The ideal candidate is motivated by more than a traditional advisory role and is looking to become a true partner in the future of the organization.

This position is well-suited for someone who:

  • Has developed strong technical planning and client relationship skills and is ready for a more senior, leadership-oriented role.

  • Is motivated by building enduring client relationships while also contributing to the long-term growth and success of the firm.

  • Values a collaborative, team-based environment where client outcomes and fiduciary advice come first.

  • Is interested in a defined path toward partnership, including potential equity participation based on performance, contribution, and alignment with the firm’s culture and values.

  • Seeks to help shape firm strategy, culture, and client experience rather than operating solely within an existing structure.

  • Has an interest in investment strategy and portfolio construction and would value participation in the firm's Investment Policy Committee.

For the right individual, this role represents an opportunity to join RCA not just as an advisor, but as a future owner and long-term steward of the firm’s client relationships and legacy.

Benefits

Retirement Corporation of America offers an above-market compensation package and generous employee benefits, including:

  • 401(k) plan with company match

  • Healthcare benefits

  • Paid time off

  • Professional development opportunities

Qualifications

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client priorities effectively.

  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
