Cetera Investment Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Advisor to join our team at a credit union in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with credit union members and business clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through personalized advice and investment strategies.

About the Role

As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and advisory services. You’ll assess client portfolios, understand their financial objectives, and provide tailored guidance to help them succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a client base through proactive outreach and relationship development
• Analyze client financial situations, including risk tolerance, goals, income, assets, and debts
• Recommend suitable investment and insurance products
• Educate clients on product benefits, risks, and strategies
• Develop internal and external referral networks
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer clients to other financial services as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company policies
• Complete all required training and maintain active licenses
• Deliver exceptional service with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) – Required
• Life & Health Insurance License – Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a producing advisor
• Strong sales, marketing, and business development skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a passion for helping others succeed
