Job Overview

With guidance from supervisor, oversee the planning and supervision of the fiscal administrative activities of a unit. Requires basic knowledge of finance area, including standard financial principles & terminology, theories and practices. Duties are of minimal to moderate complexity & require some degree of fiscal, problem solving, training and team coordination responsibilities.

This position is eligible for remote work once training is complete.

Essential Functions
  1. Prepare invoices and reconcile Accounts Receivable reports to follow-up on past-due balances.
  2. Coordinate and monitor administrative duties.
  3. Assist in the development of unit policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor the financial status of unit programs and other budget allocations.
  5. Implement policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  6. Prepare reports.
  7. May coordinate personnel functions for an operating unit at less than 25% of duties.
  8. Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
  1. Bachelor’s Degree must be in accounting or related field.
  2. Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience

Related finance or accounting experience.
