The right candidate will assist in creating and maintaining financial records to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded to produce accurate financial reporting. Reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with zero to two years related experience, GAAP understanding, and strong communication skills to collaborate across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a four-year college or university.
• Zero to two years related experience and/or training.
• Understanding and ability to adhere to GAAP.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cost accounting and other related duties.
• Create and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Compile financial data to assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
• Perform a variety of balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
• Participate in the monthly close and general ledger reconciliation.
• Communicate with other departments as necessary to coordinate workflow and the collection of accounting information.
• Aid external and internal auditors in annual audits.
• Monitor and review compliance with applicable laws and regulations as necessary.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested.
