Job summary

The Trust Company internship at Commerce Trust in Clayton, Missouri offers hands-on exposure to Financial Planning, Institutional, Private Client, Private Banking, and Portfolio Management. You will rotate through departments, attend team meetings, and work on small projects under supervision.

The 11-week program runs May 18, 2027 to July 30, 2027, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, paid and full-time. Eligible candidates include high school graduates who are sophomores/juniors pursuing Finance or

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; sophomores/juniors pursuing a Finance or Accounting degree with GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Assigned/hired roles require pay transparency; internship base rates provided.
• Understands basic department functions and project support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Rotations through Trust department with introductions to each team.
• Attend internal meetings and shadow team members to learn responsibilities.
• Assist with presentations, research, and mailing lists; support events as needed.
• Participate in key projects assigned by departments.
• Maintain accuracy in documentation and reports.
