Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Finance Transformation Program Lead to guide multi-domain finance initiatives across Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Data, and Technology teams in a remote consulting capacity. The role focuses on Revenue Recognition, O2C improvements, and Global Indirect Tax transformation, delivering pragmatic future-state roadmaps, detailed project plans, governance, and KPI-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IS, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• MBA/MS preferred; professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience leading large finance transformation programs is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple finance transformation initiatives across Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Data, and Technology.
• Drive projects related to Revenue Recognition, O2C process improvements, and Global Indirect Tax transformation.
• Assess current-state finance processes, systems, controls, and operating models for improvements.
• Define future-state solutions and transformation roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, governance structures, milestones, and accountability frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and facilitate decisions across business and tech teams.
• Lead process optimization focused on efficiency, scalability, compliance, and operating excellence.
• Partner with Finance and Technology to improve data quality, reporting, and system effectiveness.
• Monitor risks and change impacts; ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Establish KPIs to measure program success and drive continuous improvement.

• Partner with Finance and Technology teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and system effectiveness.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years leading Finance Transformation, Finance Operations, or Enterprise Transformation programs.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within complex organizations.
• Deep understanding of finance and accounting processes, including Revenue Recognition, Order-to-Cash, Financial Controls, Tax Operations, and Financial Reporting.
• Strong project and program management capabilities with a record of successful execution.
• Experience working directly with senior Finance and Accounting leaders.
• Ability to quickly assess business challenges, establish priorities, and execute practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Preferred: experience in global digital, subscription, streaming, media, or entertainment businesses.
• Preferred: background in finance process, data, and systems transformation, including ERP implementations and finance technology platforms.
• Preferred: familiarity with global tax and compliance requirements and operating model transformation.
• Preferred: consulting experience within large enterprise environments.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field required.
• Master's degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Information Systems, or similar) preferred.Professional certifications such as PMP, CPA, CMA, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management, or equivalent are a plus.
• Additional coursework or certifications in Finance Transformation, ERP systems, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Process Improvement are highly desirable.
