Job summary

PwC is seeking a Finance Function Strategy Consulting Senior Associate to help clients shape finance operating models, organizational design, governance, and operating rhythms aligned with business goals. You will analyze challenges, build client connections, manage workstreams, and mentor junior team members while deepening understanding of the client’s context.

• Minimum 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze finance operating models, org structures, and current-state processes to identify gaps and redesign opportunities.
• Develop target operating model recommendations for finance functions, including governance, roles, decision rights, and service delivery approaches.
• Prepare client-ready deliverables translating findings into insights, options, and roadmaps.
• Interpret financial/operational data to support finance transformation and business-case development.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with finance and business leaders to gather requirements and shape designs.
• Apply methodologies to assess finance processes, reporting needs, capabilities, and workforce implications.
• Support change management by assessing impacts and preparing teams for new ways of working.
• Contribute to workstream planning, tracking, and issue resolution with deadlines.
• Review analyses and deliverables by junior team members, providing mentoring and guidance.
• Build client relationships by anticipating needs and adapting to shifting priorities.
