Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to join the Accounting, Tools, Entities, Automation, and Management Reporting (ATEAM) team responsible for contributing to the launch of automation initiatives across the Accounting organization.

With the rapid growth of the company, it is essential to make continued investments in process improvement, month-end close acceleration, automation, AI scaling, technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects.
• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to influence automation design and implementation with financial best practices.
• Gather and document detailed functional accounting requirements and delivery of technical deliverables.
• Define a project plan and think critically to identify, evaluate and communicate on potential risks and obstacles early in the project lifecycle.
• Define and execute on the pre-launch user acceptance testing and lead the automation launch readiness assessment.
• Lead projects, supporting manual effort reduction and process efficiency while maintaining financial control.
• Streamline program delivery across the accounting organization by standardizing project communications, execution and documentation, ensuring consistent, scalable global processes.
