Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to join the Accounting, Tools, Entities, Automation, and Management Reporting team, accelerating automation and process improvements across the global accounting organization.

The role partners with worldwide teams to drive scalable solutions, reduce manual effort, and strengthen financial controllership while delivering high-impact automation projects and technology-driven optimizations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience delivering results for large cross-functional initiatives/projects.
• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to influence automation design and implementation with financial best practices
• Gather and document detailed functional accounting requirements and delivery of technical deliverables
• Define a project plan and think critically to identify, evaluate and communicate on potential risks and obstacles early in the project lifecycle
• Define and execute on the pre-launch user acceptance testing and lead the automation launch readiness assessment
• Lead projects, supporting manual effort reduction and process efficiency while maintaining financial control
• Streamline program delivery across the accounting organization by standardizing project communications, execution and documentation, ensuring consistent, scalable global processes
