Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Short-term Intern to join the Finance team for approx 6 months, focusing on FP&A, cost controlling, and analytics. You'll work under leadership to deliver financial insights and support operational decision-making with AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or recently graduated in a finance-related degree.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Ability to analyze structured data and present insights clearly.
• Experience with AI tools for data extraction, research, and drafting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist FP&A in regional planning and budgeting within the AOP cycle.
• Prepare regional financial reviews and variance analyses, with actionable recommendations.
• Develop and deploy AI-driven forecasting and analytics to support decision making.
• Support monthly OPEX variance analysis and cash flow forecasting initiatives.
• Collaborate with Head of Services Finance and senior controllers on dashboards.
