Unity is seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst to join our Finance Transformation & Systems team, partnering with the Finance organization to configure Workday Adaptive Planning and streamline monthly reporting and forecasting.

You will build trust with Finance decision makers, document configurations clearly, and apply AI-driven efficiencies to improve data flows and month-end close in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Workday Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials integrations.
• Translate finance requirements into configuration solutions, using AI to automate reconciliation.
• Strong documentation skills with configuration guides, business process flows and training materials.
• Ability to manage tickets and projects with a defined intake and prioritization process.
• Understanding of data flows between systems and impact on month-end close.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain, configure, and continuously improve Workday Adaptive Planning, including its integrations with Workday Financials
• Partner with Finance key decision makers to gather requirements and deliver configuration solutions, using AI tools to automate reconciliation and reduce manual work
• Maintain clear system documentation — configuration guides, business process flows, and training materials
• Manage support tickets and project work through a defined intake and prioritization process, communicating status proactively
• Solve data flow issues alongside finance partners and keep our reporting reliable through month-end close

What We’re Looking For

• A technical foundation in relational database modeling and how data moves between systems
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple open requests and projects at once in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative approach to problem-solving and a track record of building trusted relationships with finance partners
• Working familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, and ideas about applying them to financial analysis and data preparation
• Effective written and verbal communication, including explaining technical solutions to non-technical audiences

You might also have

• Hands-on Workday Financials configuration and support experience in a business or functional analyst capacity
• Understanding of core finance and accounting concepts: GAAP, month-end close, AP/AR workflows, and expense management
• Workday Adaptive Planning certification or hands-on Adaptive Planning experience
• Experience with other ERP platforms
• A background in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field

Base Salary Range: We determine the base salary range for this role based on your primary work location:

• Zone A: $68,700 - $103,100 USD gross
• Zone B: $77,700 - $116,500 USD gross
• Zone C: $87,300 - $130,900 USD gross

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
