Job summary

The University of Tampa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, beginning Fall 2027. The successful candidate will help run the student-managed fund with over $800,000 in assets and teach the fund management course within their load.

We seek a scholar with a Ph.D. in Finance (AACSB-accredited) or equivalent, with demonstrated teaching, research, service, and mentoring abilities; ABDs considered.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. from AACSB-accredited program (or equivalent) in Finance; ABDs considered.
• Proven teaching, scholarship, service, and student mentoring track record.
• Ability to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses; potential to publish in ABDC or Cabell's-listed journals.

Responsibilities

• Teach three four-credit hour courses per semester (12 hours).
• Engage in scholarly activity with undergraduates; advise students; provide service to department, college, and university.
• Help run the student-managed fund with over $800,000 in assets under management.
