Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP in Texas seeks a Senior Analyst, Finance Technology - Finance Data and operations to own and improve the shared Finance platform, data quality, and receivables processes across modules such as Client/Matter Management and AR.

You will partner with Finance, AR, Billing, HR, Risk, IT and external vendors to ensure accurate data, reliable reporting, and smooth integrations across Sierra, Workday interfaces, Intapp Open/Walls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IS, Finance, Accounting, Business, CS, or related field.
5+ years of functional analysis, business-systems analysis, product analysis, or related experience.
Experience with ERP/financial platform; Aderant Sierra preferred.
Functional understanding of AR, collections, cash application, aging, statements.
Experience with Client and Matter Management, master data, data governance, or reporting enablement.
Experience gathering requirements, defining data rules, documenting processes, writing test scenarios, managing defects, and supporting releases.
Knowledge of enterprise integrations, mappings, and scheduling; hands-on development not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including cross-system impact assessment.
Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, planning, and communication skills.
Willingness to support outside regular business hours when required.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary IT functional analyst for Client and Matter Management, AR and collections enablement, finance master data and shared reference data.
Support AR capabilities including client/matter account structures, receivable balances, aging, reporting.
Analyze client and matter structures, statuses, attributes, and billing and collection contacts.
Translate business needs into functional requirements, data rules, process designs, and acceptance criteria.
Lead or support system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance, and releases.
Maintain functional specifications, data definitions, mappings, and support procedures.
