Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Six years of journey-level professional computer systems experience
• Two years of supervisory experience
• An equivalent combination of training and experience (as approved by the department) may be used to meet the minimum qualifications of the classification

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level supervision over all major and minor technology systems within the Finance Department.
• Oversee daily technology operations and direct workflow across multiple functional units.
• Provide interpretive decisions regarding technology approaches that support department goals and City policies.
• Offer contextual guidance and direction to subordinate managers, staff, and support personnel.
• Manages technology teams and associated personnel functions including training coordination, performance evaluation, and discipline.
