Job summary

Rivian in Plymouth, Michigan is seeking a motivated Product Manager to design and develop custom software for the Finance & Accounting organization. You will partner with Finance stakeholders to map workflows, identify pain points, and build scalable tools that improve accuracy, speed, and visibility across financial operations.

This role reports to the Senior Staff Product Manager and is located in Plymouth, MI.

Qualifications

• User-centric design mindset that improves non-technical finance user experiences.
• Strong analytical skills to inform product decisions and measure KPIs.
• Comfort translating finance needs into detailed product specs and user stories.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Become the subject matter expert for Rivian Finance & Accounting workflows including AP/AR, treasury, close, reporting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Conduct user research with finance stakeholders to uncover pain points and inefficiencies.
• Translate user needs into detailed specs, collaborate with engineering to prioritize features, and manage end-to-end delivery.
• Oversee ERP integrations (SAP) and other financial data platforms to create seamless workflows.
• Lead data-driven optimization, track KPIs, and explore AI/ML opportunities to automate processes.
