Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to provide strategic leadership for the Finance technology portfolio. You will shape the multi-year roadmap, align investments with regulatory expectations, and guide cross-functional teams including Accounting, FP&A, IT, and Audit.

The role emphasizes collaboration with executive stakeholders, vendor management, and continuous improvement using intelligent automation and data analytics to drive efficiency and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive experience across Finance, Accounting, and Financial Systems.
• Experience leading Finance technology strategy, governance, and enterprise initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine a multi-year roadmap for Finance systems and associated upgrades.
• Lead Finance system implementations, integrations, and vendor-driven changes with governance.
• Coordinate with IT, Security, PMO, and Vendor Management on project delivery.
• Advise executives on Finance technology priorities, risks, and modernization opportunities.
• Manage budget and forecasts for Finance system projects and assess external help needs.
