Job summary

Kinetik is launching a Financial Systems & Analytics function and seeks an Analyst to design, build, and maintain FP&A workflows and dashboards. You will work with the VP of Finance and Treasurer, using Python and SQL to transform source data into executive-ready insights.

This role emphasizes understanding finance logic, maintaining code with validation, and contributing across planning, accounting, and forecasting. A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Recent undergraduate to 1–2 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS/Finance or related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated ability to build in Python and SQL.
• Working knowledge of core finance and accounting concepts.
• Hands-on experience with LLM tools.
• Strong Excel fluency.
• Attention to detail and ability to validate outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom FP&A workflows, automations, and dashboards.
• Extract, clean, and structure company data from source systems.
• Translate needs into working tools by understanding calculation logic.
• Build reporting robust enough to inform executive decision‑making.
• Establish engineering standards: version control, docs, testing, and validation.
