Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst II to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial systems including ERP, Cobra, FP&A, budgeting, and reporting. You’ll analyze financial data, build forecasting models, and support end users across departments to ensure data integrity and process improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple teams, documentation, and ongoing optimization of financial tools.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Typically 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in finance, data analytics, or analytical roles.
• Experience in finance-related positions such as FP&A, budgeting, or accounting.
• Experience collecting data from multiple sources and presenting insights.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
• Strong business analytics skills with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial systems (ERP, Cobra, FP&A, budgeting, reporting).
• Analyze financial data to prepare accurate reports and projections.
• Collaborate with departments to align financial systems with business needs.
• Develop and maintain financial models and tools for budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide end-user training and support for financial systems.
• Ensure data validation and data integrity within financial systems.
• Prepare documentation and user guides; participate in testing and troubleshooting.
