Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation in Louisville, KY is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst II to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial systems, including ERP, Cobra, FP&A, budgeting, and reporting tools.

You will analyze financial data to prepare accurate reports and projections, support budgeting and forecasting, and develop models and tools while ensuring data integrity and end-user training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance or related field.
• Experience implementing/maintaining financial systems (ERP, Cobra) and FP&A tooling.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Experience training end-users and supporting system adoption.

Job description

• The Finance Systems Analyst II oversees the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial systems, including ERP, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and reporting systems
• This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in financial systems and data analysis
• In this role, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial systems, including ERP, Cobra, FP&A, budgeting, and reporting systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs
• You will analyze and interpret financial data to prepare accurate financial reports and projections, providing insights to support decision-making
• Collaborating with various departments, you will ensure financial systems align with business requirements and develop and maintain financial models and tools to enhance budgeting and forecasting processes
• Providing support and training to end-users of financial systems will be a key responsibility, helping ensure effective utilization across teams
• You will perform data validation and ensure data integrity within financial systems to maintain accuracy and reliability
• Additionally, you will prepare documentation and user guides for financial systems, participate in system testing, and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless functionality
• Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in financial systems, you will continuously contribute to process improvement and optimization
