Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services offers a structured Finance Student Program based in the Detroit area. Students work remotely during the school year and report in-person to Auburn Hills or local facilities in summer, balancing class schedules while meeting a 24-hour weekly requirement.

Summer may extend to 40 hours at management’s discretion. The program assigns departments based on background and provides mentorship, project-based work, and exposure to multiple finance modules.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Enrolled as Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior at the time of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Able to commit 24 hours per week year-round.
• Prior internship or accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Strong interest in the automotive industry and new technologies.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process asset accounting activities for manufacturing facilities in the Detroit area.
• Provide accounting support for asset capitalization, transfers, and disposals; asset reuse and life adjustments.
• Maintain asset master records and asset changes for assigned groups.
• Coordinate month-end closing with external accounting services for assigned plants.
• Maintain internal controls over asset accounting.
• Perform analysis, reporting and studies for leadership.
• Prepare monthly accrual JVs to report period costs.
• Handle ad hoc assignments for Manufacturing Finance.
