Job summary

Rippling is hiring a Product Design Lead for Finance Spend to shape the Spend Management Platform from concept to shipped reality. You will craft experiences across cards, expenses, bill pay, procurement, travel, and reporting, driving craft and usability while aligning with Product and Engineering.

You’ll mentor designers, set patterns that scale from a startup to a 10,000-person company, and collaborate with teams to deliver customer-centric, scalable design solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of end-to-end product design experience shipping complex, high-impact products from concept to launch.
• Portfolio demonstrates ability to turn ambiguous problems into simple workflows in complex domains.
• Strong interaction and visual design craft with polished, build-ready specs.
• Relentless customer focus and habit of digging into real behavior to solve meaningful problems.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to align stakeholders and drive decisions.
• Proven ability to work effectively with Product and Engineering and maintain quality at pace.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving environments and managing multiple work streams.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision for Rippling’s Spend Management Platform, unifying Cards, Travel, Expenses, and Bill Pay.
• Partner with Research to translate complex finance workflows into simple cross-product experiences.
• Design for employees and finance leaders, delivering effortless flows with control and visibility.
• Mentor designers in systems thinking, interaction design, and visual polish.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ship with urgency while championing customers.
