Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• 3+ years federal accounting experience, including DoD accounting.
• Strong USSGL knowledge and federal financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with OMB Circular A-136 reporting.
• Familiarity with TFM and DoD FMR.
• Ability to analyze large datasets with advanced Excel functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and technical support to implement, test, and report on internal controls including ICOFR and ICOFS.
• Support IPERIA compliance-related activities.
• Assist with internal control testing including risk assessments, tests of design, and tests of operating effectiveness.
• Support remediation activities tied to financial statement audits or internal control deficiencies.
• Maintain an Audit Readiness and Sustainment Program Risk Management Strategy with metrics and reporting.
• Coordinate audit-related documentation between auditors and program stakeholders.
• Maintain automated tools and tracking systems for audit readiness and financial operations; compile and analyze large datasets with Excel pivot tables.
• Provide flexible support to financial management initiatives and PMO priorities.
